Sente Protects Youth, Increases Safety through Soccer Goal Legislation Signed

VERNON HILLS, IL – After a tragic accident involving an unsecured soccer goal took the life of six-year-old Zachary “Zach” Tran seven and a half years ago, legislation sponsored by State Rep. Carol Sente (D-Vernon Hills) requiring organizations like park districts to examine how they store, set-up and secure soccer goals was signed into law by Pat Governor Quinn on Tuesday.
